State Contracting & Engineering works extensively with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and this “repeat business” client has retained SCEC as its design builder to develop and execute the master plan for the Homestead and the Clewiston Field Stations.

These two field station projects provide an excellent example of SCEC’s capability and expertise. Some of the noteworthy projects unique construction features include fueling services, facilities maintenance equipment, hoisting gantries, and Veeder Root vehicle management systems.

SCEC is currently in different development phases of the Homestead and Clewiston projects with the Homestead project having completed its first construction phase and its second phase being in 60% design. The Clewiston project is in 30% design and SCEC is the lead partner of the design build team for both projects managing and developing the master plans for both projects, coordinating directly with the SFWMD in weekly meetings and design workshops, and directing the architect’s design teams.
