Design-Build of a new 3,000 SF corporate office for the architectural firm of Borrelli + Partners in an existing building located in the heart of the Coral Gables business district. Due to its eighth-floor location, all construction activities were scheduled around the tenants of the occupied building. Careful coordination was required during design in order to facilitate installation of the large glass panels for the new reception and conference rooms. By working as a team, SCEC and Borrelli were able to expedite design, permitting, and construction reducing overall completion of the project by one month.
