This beautification project of the beach town’s downtown features expanded outdoor café seating and walkways, lighting, and landscaping. The CM at Risk project was also designed to improve the walkability of the downtown area with wider sidewalks, new pavers, additional lighting, and new directional and informational signage. The enhanced landscape is bordered by new precast concrete low planter walls that further delineate pedestrian walkways from exterior restaurant seating. The project was named a Public Works Project of the Year by the Florida Chapter of the American Public Works Association.
