A design-build project, the scope consisted of the replacement of the maintenance and office buildings of the existing Homestead Field Station. The new office building and maintenance/storage building are separated by a covered staff dining area. The office center has offices for 26 personnel, a conference room, break room, locker rooms, showers and work room. The maintenance building has six maintenance bays with equipment for the repair and maintenance of the District’s largest vehicles. The building also includes storage, offices and restrooms. A new fueling station and generator were also part of the project.
