As part of the overall Broward College Central Campus exterior upgrades, this phase of work included improvements to the parking area adjacent to Building 13. A new elevated brick paver walkway was created to connect the campus to building 13, and new handicapped parking spaces were constructed. A total of 215 parking spaces were improved, with associated signage and striping.

As part of the project the existing drainage system was expanded and a connection was made to an existing lake using a new culvert. Other improvements included new landscape and irrigation at Building 13, new ADA sidewalk access, and a new entrance walkway to Building 13.
