MIAMI DADE COLLEGE-WOLFSON
BUILDING 6000 HOSPITALITY & DRAMA RENOVATIONS

Under a continuing contract for Construction Management at Risk projects with the College, SCEC worked in Building 6000 to create a hands-on training facility for hospitality students. A folding glass wall provides flexibility in terms of classroom size. The scope included flooring, lighting, ceilings, and HVAC upgrades on the fourth floor of the occupied building. At Building 3000, renovations were completed in the third-floor drama studio to create a new black-box theater for live performances as well as a new dressing room. Scope included a special wood flooring system, lighting and electrical systems, HVAC upgrades, and acoustical wall soundproofing.
