Project included improvements to four existing mixed-use/business blocks on Commercial Boulevard, requiring coordination with dozens of businesses and residents. Improvements to the existing drainage system on FDOT's Commercial Boulevard were implemented under a joint agreement with the FDOT and required roadway reconstruction. Each block involved complete reconstruction of the parking lot including new drainage. Project also included new brick paver sidewalks, landscape, lighting, and custom aluminum trellis sculptures.

This project, coupled with its sister project East Commercial Boulevard, won the 2013 Florida Public Works Project of the Year, as awarded by the state chapter of the American Public Works Association.
