SAWGRASS EXPRESSWAY OVERPASS

AT PANTHERS ARENA

SCEC was selected as the contractor for construction of this new overpass and associated road and toll modifications to provide direct access to the new Panthers Arena from the Sawgrass Expressway. This project was one of FDOT's first private/public projects. It also was the FDOT Secretary of Transportation Project of Special Interest for the year. The fast-track project was completed in record time for the inaugural game of the NHL Florida Panthers.
