SCEC CELEBRATES GROUNDBREAKING FOR HOLLYWOOD BEACH GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE

State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) joined the City of Hollywood to celebrate the official groundbreaking of the Hollywood Beach Golf Course and Clubhouse/Community Center project. After a competitive proposal and presentation process, SCEC was awarded the Construction Management at Risk contract for the vertical construction of the project.

The Hollywood Beach Golf Club dates to 1924, and the City is redeveloping the public 18-hole course to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

SCEC will construct the new 6,500 SF Clubhouse/Community Center, which will include a restaurant, build a new cart barn, and renovate the existing 6,000 SF golf course maintenance building. The budget is approximately $7 million, with a planned opening in late 2025.
