SCEC is pleased to announce its win of a design-build project for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 4.

This project consists of the installation of 13 bus shelters at locations within the City of Lauderhill in Broward County. SCEC's design partner is Bentley Architects + Engineers, based in Longwood, Florida.

For continuity, the team's final designs will incorporate aesthetic features similar to other bus shelters constructed in recent years in the City of Lauderhill.

SCEC plans to begin construction of the poured-in-place structures in October. Contract duration is 276 calendar days.

This is SCEC's first design-build contract with Bentley Architects. SCEC has a long history of design-build success, having led the Florida Turnpike's first design-build project in 1989.
