MIAMI DADE COLLEGE LEHMAN THEATER RENOVATIONS COMPLETE

June 2016 - SCEC has completed renovations of Miami Dade College’s Lehman Theater (Building 5000) at the College’s North Campus in Miami.

The improvements to the 15,800 square feet theater included the replacement of all stage rigging and stage lighting, a new fire curtain, new stage hydraulics, extended catwalks, a new stage smoke exhaust, and LED lighting retrofits.

During the final phase of the project, the College requested the replacement of the wood flooring for the entire stage. SCEC still completed the project as scheduled and within budget.

The theater improvements were designed by ATKINS Global.

SCEC delivered the project as the College’s Construction Manager at Risk under a Continuing Contract.
