SCEC SPONSORS TOWN OF LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA HOLIDAY EVENT
SCEC was the main sponsor this year for the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea’s Christmas-By-The-Sea holiday event on December 7. The downtown outdoor event drew a Town record crowd of more than 5,000 people.
Highlights included a Yuletide Market, children’s activities, performances by local singers and dancers, Santa’s arrival in a Town fire truck, and the Town Christmas Tree lighting in Anglin’s Square.
Just before the start of Christmas-By-The-Sea, SCEC took part in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Town’s new public restroom building constructed by SCEC. The El Mar Restroom Building and Plaza provides six restrooms and six new parking spaces in downtown LBTS for visitors and beachgoers.
Christmas-By-The-Sea is held on Commercial Boulevard east of A1A. SCEC helped transform this very area in 2013 on the East Commercial Streetscape Project completed for the Town of LBTS.
